Taiwanese Souvenir – Golden Taiwan

Taiwan, my country, is a island of 394 Km long and 144 Km wide. Golden sculptures of Taiwan-island shape, as shown in the following two pictures, were created by using 8.5 grams of gold foils and 5.6 grams gold particles respectively. They are Taiwanese souvenirs made of pure gold.

Gold Sculpture – Taiwan Souvenir

Different golden sculpture could be created by using thick gold foils and small gold particles. As indicated in the following picture, a sculpture of distorted star-moon was created by 8 grams of pure gold.

Taiwan-Wild-Grape Leaf

A beautiful leaf of Taiwan-wild-grape near our office was selected to turn into its corresponding silver sculpture. As shown in the following pictures, this silver leaf (a souvenir) will make some pleasant memories of our leaving colleague.

Musical-note Gold – Taiwan Gift

Thick gold foils with overall hackly in texture were produced at my lab. Each foil has around 1 cm length. Owing to the flexibility of pure-gold foil, many beautiful gold patterns were obtained. As shown in the following picture, beautiful gold with musical-note shape was obtained by using 5.5 grams of pure gold.

Gold Specimen – Taiwan Souvenir

The color of pure gold could be changed by its morphology or grain size. Accordingly, different colors of pure gold were produced in my lab. Moreover, a composition of picture made of pure gold with different colors was obtained. As shown in the following picture, therefore, 10 grams of pure gold was used to compose the two-heart shape. It is a nice Taiwan souvenir.

Crystalline Gold in Quartz– Taiwan Souvenir

Crystalline gold along with quartz were made here in Taiwan. Accordingly, as shown in the following picture, “pure gold in pure quartz” was obtained. This combination should be a Taiwan souvenir. 

Gold Ginkgo Leaf – Taiwan Gift

A unique gold-ginkgo-leaf was made by our thick gold foils. According to a ginkgo leaf (right), as shown in the following picture, the gold-ginkgo-leaf (left) was fan-shaped with veins radiating out into the leaf blade. The leaf weighs 3.5 grams and has 99.9% purity. The beautiful gold-ginkgo-leaf should be a nice Taiwan gift.
